Hi, I’m Andrea. I am a long time money nerd pursuing FIRE with my family of 4. 

I believe everyone can achieve Financial Independence in 15 years or less if they know the principles, and I truly believe that money can be fun. Which is why I built this site, as a hope that I can make an army or money nerds to send out into the world spreading money knowledge like pollen… okay that got a little weird, but you get the idea.  

I know that people who KNOW better, DO better!

This site came about from a desire to create a community of people who share a common interest and goal, and are here to help each other. Because being good with money can feel daunting. When in truth it is simple… Notice how I said simple, not easy.

There is so much to be done in the way of simplifying complex financial topics and making money interesting and inviting. I have a BA in Visual Communication (fancy way of saying graphic design), which I think will allow me to create great things for a field that isn’t known for being pretty or well designed.

Little Andrea was fascinated with the concept of money and the idea that there was always a way to make things happen. And it didn’t matter if you were a book genius. You just play with numbers until something makes sense and then you act on it. The more you understand what your money can do, the more your money can do for you. In short, that is how I became a money nerd.
